Welcome to the estate
Since 1900, the Burgaud family has been cultivating vines and producing top-quality wines.
Alexandre Burgaud represents the fourth generation of winegrowers. He perpetuates the family know-how while adding his own touch...
the wines
Discover the variety of wines produced from a single grape variety, emblematic of the Beaujolais region: Gamay Noir with white juice.
Pink granite, sandy, stony, clay-limestone soils, ...
Alexandre Burgaud focuses on low grape yields to ensure that each bunch receives the attention it needs.
Each bunch is carefully hand-picked at just the right moment to guarantee the best flavor.
At the estate, old vines are planted at 10,000 vines per hectare, and production per vine is very low, but of high quality.
To preserve this quality while meeting the agro-environmental challenge, new plantations are planted at 8,000 plants per hectare.
